When Markel came back from his walk on Sunday morning, he brought this huge caterpiller along home. We put it in the jar with the "Chrys" chrysalis, and named it "Pickles" because it is the Pickle Slices Jar. This evening it looks like it might soon go into the J mode.
This week when we got fresh leaves for the caterpiller, this little guy must have come along, but we didn't see it till a few days later.
If you look closely, you can see him on the leaf streight down from Beachy (in the chrysalis), and we named him/her Applebutter since it is in the Beachy's Applebutter Jar.
