Bender Reunion

I am sorry the pictures didn't turn out so well and are fuzzy, but maybe you can get the "picture". Today the Bender Reunion started off with Lowell moderating the meeting at the "Old" Cherry Glade Church House.
Dave led the singing ( and it sounded real good) ! It felt like it was coming from "the heart"!

Ivan had a 15 minute message for us.

Rachel, Ruth and Aunt Fannie sat in the front on the left. Aunt Fannie is the only surviving grandchild of Wilhelm. She will be 90 in November (she says if she lives that long)! She was the oldest person there, and I think they said there were 36 present.

Some of the group attending the service.

Among the people there this morning were Luke and Elam.

They helped Aunt Fannie down the steps and into the car after the service.

We gathered at Ida's pavillion for a Potluck Lunch, which was very good, with lots of yummy food!

Mildred and Barb check the dessert table, and find good food there, too!

Aunt Fannie and Luke arriving for lunch in their wheelchairs.
Sadge was soooo happy to have us sing to him "You Are My Sunshine", and he tried to help along! It was a very good day all around!
