This morning when we left for an early doctor's appointment in Morgantown, I told Markel I think Beachy will eclose while we are gone, and I think it is a girl.
Sure enough when we returned it was loose in the jar, and fluttered a few times.
I got "it" out, and when she opened her wings - she was a girl! I put her on my finger and took her to the back porch, and didn't even get her to the wishing well with flowers until she fluttered away in the breeze, and headed to the tree tops! The second one of the butterflies released this year!
