This picture was taken 8 years ago when all the children and grandchildren came home for Father's Day weekend because Markel was diagnosed with Non Hotchkins Lymphoma, (in stage 4) and was going through chemo. This is Kristen, grandaughter ( at age 4 at the time), snuggling with Grandpa in the hammock in our back yard. We have been so thankful God has chosen to bring him through that difficult time!!!

Grandpa With Kristen
