Our family get-together was on January 1 this year. We had a good time being together for part of the day with most of us present. Even Daisy (Naomi's service dog) took a nap through the muddle of things!

By yesterday Emma and Rachel had not helped Pa make the Potato Candy (without potatoes), so they got on to that job when they were over. The girls had a sleepover Friday evening since Aunt Lois, Aunt Julie and Asa and Noah were still here.
Of course, the candy had to be tasted before it was served to anyone else! Emma said, "This "flour" is really good"!
After church today, Jeff held Evan while Christy (left) and Phebe (right) looked on.
Julia, Asa and Noah joined us, Ken, Phebe, Rachel and Evan at McDonalds for lunch after church (Emma had a birthday party to go to), and left for home from there, so they were the last ones leaving after the Holidays. The house seems empty and quiet this evening with just Pa and me here!
