A Christmas Program

Last evening we went to the Christmas program at Bittinger Mennonite gym. They have 42 students in school there, and this year was the year for the school to do the program.
They had, besides singing, a skit and also a play.
The Inkeeper (Jesse) was funny, and gave a glimpse of what might have happened.
There was good acting, but the Christmas story really came through.
The Play was titled "Not That Far From Bethleham", and grades 7-12 did that song and "I am Resolved" as the closing number. The teachers helped with the singing, and it really sounded good!
You could tell they practiced the songs for quite a while, and the message was there very clearly. It was a good opening for the Christmas season. This was the first program we were to this year.
After the program, they gave out oranges and candy canes. Here some of the kids are enjoying each other and the treats.
Arlin took one of their grandchildren (Krystal's) to see Great-Grandpa Alva. It was a very nice program, and I really enjoyed the evening!
