Every evening Markel brings the bird feeders in so the Bear and the Coon don't feast on it at night, and drag the feeders into the woods, and in the morning the birds "call" for their food in loud squawks until he returns the feeders for them.
Even the squirrels are happy to have the feeders brought back out. Mr. Squirrel has learned that if he gets on top of the squirrel-proof feeder, and hangs upside down stretching his neck around the side, he can feed to his heart's content, and it dosen't "trip" the bar that closes him off to the seeds!!!

Squirrels are smart like that! I saw a PBS special one time where they showed how a squirrel adapts so quickly to new obsticles. It's almost creepy!
