This morning before Emma and Rachel came, I sewed together the two stockings we needed this year to hang by the fireplace. When the girls got here, they ate lunch first, and then the first thing on the list was to get the Hershey kisses unwrapped.
We set them aside, and the candy making began! Pa, Emma and Rachel were in the middle of mixing the "dough", and rolling it out.
The next step was to spread the "dough" with peanut butter, and roll it up and slice it. The girls each had a small piece that they rolled out, spread and cut. According to the girls it tasted pretty good!
Then we got back to baking the Peanut Blossoms. The girls helped put the kisses on the cookies after they came out of the oven, and Emma took them off the cookie sheet (with a little assistance.
They did a very good job in helping me today! Thanks Emma and Rachel (and Pa) !
