We arrived at Deb and Kendall's house on Monday before Thanksgiving.

Oranges and grapefruit were hanging from the trees behind the house.

There were also a few lemons that were ripe.

We spent a little time on the patio out by the pool, but the water in the pool was too cold to do any swimming.

We sat outside and ate pizza one night , but we ended up going for jackets and sweaters before the evening was over.

The men played quite a bit of pool in the week we were there.

On Thanksgiving Day, they prepared such a good meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, broccoli, cooked cranberries, home made rolls, and pumpkin and apple pie (with ice cream).

Kendall and Deb carving the wonderful turkey.

The table all set and waiting for us to sit down.

In the evening we had popcorn, cheese leftovers etc for a good supper.

Friday morning while Deb went to the gym, Eva Jean and Anna shaped Deb's peanut butter chocolate chip cookies for her.

The finished product. They looked so yummy!!!

Friday we all piled into the van and headed up to the cabin.

We played a full game of Mexican Train.

Deb put up the tree while we were there.

On Saturday evening they took us to see the "Christmas lights".

There were quite a few lovely displays of lights.

The night before we left, Deb and Kendall picked some fruit for us to take along. Emma and Rachel got the few lemons that were ripe. I have at least one more posting of our trip back home later on.
