Today was the Cross Roads School Reunion. I think the one that came from SC (Poker Bender), probably had the longest distance to travel ( 650 miles). Here Lucy chats with one of the teachers, Mary Olive. The other teacher that made it there today was Paul Bender. I didn't even get a picture of him. The Folk Meeting House in Springs is not the best place to take pictures.
Some people were local and some came from a distance.

There were a lot of conversations going on at the same time.
Jim and Markel were the only ones in the first grade the only year Markel attended there. Markel only went that one year, but like he and Jim said today again, they " held down the fort"!It was nice seeing the folks from Arcadia again!
