Eva Jean drove for a few hours going West.
We passed many miles of desert land on the way to Phoenix.
There were irrigation systems in fields turning green from the water sprayed on their hungry roots.
We saw windmills being turned by the power of the wind.
There were some herds of cattle in the huge fields where there was grass, and even some places where there was only desert plants.
