Today we had some activities going on around here again. Dennis and Walter came over this afternoon to cut down one of the trees at the bottom of our drive that had gotten too big since we moved out here in 1981.
It came down right over the drive, but was cleared away before Moya arrived, so she could drive right up to the house when she stopped in.
We had the "five little grandchildren" here today, and while Julie took the four oldest ones out to the sand box to play, I kept Evan inside.
Julie discovered that a few of the children had put sand on top of the truck cap, so she had them clean it off and put the sand back in the box. (We vacuumed our bed this evening because they were on our bed with Pa, watching a show after being in the sand box!)
After Emma, Rachel and Evan left, Asa and Noah took a ride on the horse. The kids all had a good time playing together, and I am sure they are tired and ready for bed early !
