This morning the vehicles started to arrive at about 8:30 or so for the auction set at 9:00 across the road from us at Harvey and Pauline's house. Not so much has changed as far as neighbors goes since we moved into the Cove in 1981, but since Harvey and Pauline both passed away and they didn't have children of their own, the nieces and nephews are having an auction today.
It looks like a pretty good crowd, and the rain has stopped since daylight. It poured rain for a while during the night last night.
The mailbox post on the right of the picture is our post, so you can see vehicles parked beside the road on our lawn. I hope the rain holds off until the auction is over!
