This morning we saw this deer in our back yard. I don't know why it was all alone. Usually there are three or more together, but this time it was only one.
This year the Blue Jays are plentiful in the Hosta Garden, and frequent the suet feeders Markel puts out for the birds.
The Rose-Breasted Grossbeaks are at the Sunflower Seed feeders a lot this year, too. I think they chase away the Goldfinches and the smaller birds this year.
