I thought squirrels are supposed to be hibernating by now in this cold weather, but this one hung on to the bird feeder almost all day eating sunflower seeds.
With the fireplace going in the Livingroom, the electric heater going in the Laundry Room, and the oil furnace in the basement doing it's share of heating the house, we were quite snug in the house today.
When it was (minus) -8.8 degrees this morning, (with a wind chill factor of -30), I decided baking bread might help keep the kitchen warm, and it did! I think it is warming up a little this evening, because the thermometer says 7 degrees as I write this.
